Founded by Rukeyah,born in Trinidad and Tobago, her love for sewing began at a young age, watching her grandmother tailor her own garments with care and precision middle school, her passion for creativity and fashion was undenialble.in her senior year in high school, she interned at the renowned Agatha Ruiz De La Prada a fashion house located in New York City. an experience that ignited her decision to pursue fashion design professionally. She later earned her bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Syracuse University.

The keyahofficial brand reflects Rukeyah's meticulous attention to detail and design expertise. With her deep belief that every woman deserves a gown as extraordinary as she is. Rooted in her Caribbean heritage, family values and personal journey as a mother, Rukeyah brings both craftsmanship, artistry and heart into every creation.
